Laurell K. Hamilton's Micah

A Quickie with the Queen of Erotic Horror.

Surprisingly brief and refreshingly light (sounds like an iced tea commercial), Ms. Hamilton's thirteenth installment of the Anita Blake series is a well-timed breather from the intense erotica and heavy violence of her last few novels. Like a cigarette after. . .well, you get the idea. Anita gets the chance to do what she does best: raise the dead. It’s classic Anita Blake with everything from magic getting out of control to a shootout in a graveyard. Unusual though it is to see a novella from Hamilton, the length definitely worked, and fans of the series will be very. . .satisfied.
